Little Owls

 

 

The Little Owls are aged 2 and 3 years old. The learning environment is one of fun and the children’s skills are developed through play. The warmth of care in this section allows for the child’s emotional and social development where their self-esteem and confidence is positively encouraged in an atmosphere of praise. The children’s own work is celebrated and opportunities in the group include painting, sand, water, dough, construction, puzzles, table games, books, pencil skills, music, cookery, imaginative play and outside activities. As you will be aware, your child is now at the stage where he/she is eagerly seeking information about all the exciting aspects of their rapidly expanding world. Our curriculum has many areas of practical activities that will encourage children to share, co-operate and talk together. It will nurture the child’s powerful inclination to be actively engaged in learning by providing activities that are sensible in themselves but also offer an introduction into the range of areas of learning.
